Everyone knows about NaNoWriMo, right?
In the month of November, writers from all over the world abandon housework and dependants in order to churn out 50,000 words on a new project. For some, it’s an immense challenge, one that having others with a common goal greatly helps to achieve; for others, it’s a normal day’s work, but with the added bonus of an amplified, enthusiastic, and borderline insane community.
I wrote about why I do NaNoWriMo here, and addressed various questions that fence-sitters have here. The short version is, it’s amazingly fun, the community is great, and I’ve never had a year pass where I’m not surprised at what I write.

- 2011 – Horizon’s Verge (“Repressed Brits in Space Story”, Science Fiction, TBA)
